Department of Electronics engineering is committed to-

Program Educational Objectives

  • To prepare students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals required in understanding basics and applying skills in field of Electronics Engineering.
  • To develop ability in students to design and conduct experiments and assemble projects to enhance construct and debugging skills.
  • To develop skills in students to communicate with a range of audiences, both orally and in writing, and make students aware of the social and environmental issues, ethical conducts and their professional responsibilities to the society.
  • To prepare students to succeed in self employment,  employment and/or to pursue graduate education in Electronics Engineering discipline in particular and allied engineering disciplines in general.
  • To provide students with academic environment that makes them aware of changing trends in Electronics Engineering and allied programs.
  • To upgrade the laboratories according to the need of industry and making students acquainted with modern learning resources.
  • To encourage faculties for updating knowledge of faculties to make students ready for the industry.

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of program in Diploma Electronics engineering students will

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to Electronics Engineering related problems.
  •  Assemble, install, Troubleshoot and maintain various Electronic Circuits and systems
  • Identify, design and construct application based projects.
  • Work in Team and communicate effectively through Written, Verbal & Visual Methods.
  • Recognize Environmental, Industrial, social issues & understand ethics & professionalism.
  •  an ability to use current techniques, skills, and   modern scientific & engineering tools necessary for undertaking application based projects  
  • Demonstrate skills to use modern engineering tools used for PCB designing, circuit analysis and simulation softwares
  • Implement the knowledge of latest technology subjects as per the need of today’s industry.
  • Demonstrate a commitment towards quality, Punctuality, & Continuous Improvement to excel in employment, self employment or higher education.

Program Specific Outcomes

 At the end of the diploma in Electronics Engineering students will have

  • An ability to design, assemble, construct and install various Electronic systems and gadgets used in consumer Electronics market.
  • An ability to understand and implement the knowledge in the areas related to analog and digital electronics, Embedded Systems, Mobile Communication, VLSI and Automation systems.
  • Ability to integrate class room and practical knowledge to excel in employment, self employment or higher education.
